প্রেমের টানে ভারত ছেড়ে কুড়িগ্রামে কিশোরী
প্রেমের টানে ভারতীয় এক কিশোরী কুড়িগ্রামে এসেছে। পরে পতাকা বৈঠকের মাধ্যমে প্রায় ২৪ ঘণ্টা পর তাকে ফেরত পাঠিয়েছে বর্ডার গার্ড বাংলাদেশের (বিজিবি) সদস্যরা। স্থানীয়রা জানান, প্রেমের টানে বৃহস্পতিবার (১৯ ডিসেম্বর) রাতে কুড়িগ্রামের ফুলবাড়ীর কুরুষা ফেরুষা সীমান্তের আন্তর্জাতিক মেইন পিলার ৯৩৬ এর পাশ দিয়ে নুরুন্নাহার খাতুন (১৪) নামে ভারতীয় এক কিশোরী বাংলাদেশ সীমান্তে অনুপ্রবেশ করে প্রেমিক সাগর মিয়ার (১৮) কাছে চলে আসে। সাগর ওই গ্রামের রফিকুল ইসলামের ছেলে। অপরদিকে ভারতীয় কিশোরীর বাড়ি সীমান্তবর্তী কোচবিহার জেলার দিনহাটা থানার বসকোঠাল গ্রামে। বাবার নাম নুর ইসলাম। এদিকে প্রেমের টানে ভারতীয় কিশোরীর বাংলাদেশে অনুপ্রবেশের খবর পায় লালমনিরহাট ১৫ বিজিবি শিমুলবাড়ী ক্যাম্পের সদস্যরা। পরে তারা স্থানীয় ইউপি চেয়ারম্যান-মেম্বার ও পুলিশের মাধ্যমে তাকে উদ্ধার করে। এরপর পতাকা ভারতীয় সীমান্তরক্ষী বাহিনী বিএসএফের বৈঠক করে তাকে পরিবারের কাছে হস্তান্তর করে। বিজিবির শিমুলবাড়ী ক্যাম্পের কোম্পানি কমান্ডার ঘটনার সত্যতা নিশ্চিত করেছেন। তিনি জানান, শুক্রবার (২০ ডিসেম্বর) সন্ধ্যা ৬টার দিকে কুরুষাফেরুষা সীমান্তে আন্তর্জাতিক পিলার ৯৩৬ এর পাশে পতাকা বৈঠকের মাধ্যমে ওই কিশোরীকে বিএসএফের মাধ্যমে পরিবারের কাছে ফেরত দেয়া হয়েছে। পতাকা বৈঠকে নেতৃত্ব দেন বিজিবির শিমুলবাড়ী ক্যাম্পের হাবিলদার আব্দুল আজিজ। অপরদিকে বিএসএপের পক্ষে নেতৃত্ব দেন ৩৮ ব্যাটালিয়নের বসকোঠাল ক্যাম্পের ইন্সপেক্টর কে আর সিং। এ সময় দু’দেশের স্থানীয় জনপ্রতিনিধিরাও উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
